Duki’s New ‘Goteo’ is Billboard Argentina Hot 100 Chart’s Hot Shot Debut

Without much movement in the Top 10 of the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart for the week ending Aug. 25, the good news on the chart comes from behind, with entries from Duki, WOS, Pedro Capó, Abraham Mateo, CNCO and the debut of Argentine urban singer Nicki Nicole, who is on the rise.
Except for the growth of “22” by TINI from No. 10 to No. 9, and the re-entry of “Señorita” by Shawn Mendes with Camila Cabello to the Top 10, the first 10 places on the list remain the same.
“Otro Trago” by Sech and Darell achieves its 10th week at No. 1, but on non-consecutive weeks. After its reign was taken for three weeks by Rosalia‘s “Con Altura.” “Otro Trago” returns to the top, thanks to a remix with Anuel AA, Ozuna and Nicky Jam.
Among the good news on the chart, the debut of “Goteo” at No. 17 stands out. Duki’s latest single, which features a video clip made by the Spanish rapper Dano, was in the lead at No. 1 for YouTube trends in Argentina, Mexico and Spain on the day of its release. Two weeks after its publication, it already exceeds 10 million views on YouTube. So while preparing his first album, Duki is the Hot Shot Debut of the week.
WOS’ new single, “Canguro,” was the second-best newcomer of the week. The rapper’s last single debuted at No. 36, and “Goteo” trended at No. 1 on YouTube the day it was released. At No. 45, we find another new track, “Tutu,” which unites Camilo with Pedro Capó.
In addition, rising urban singer Nicki Nicole and Argentine producer Bizarrap get their first entry to the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 with the “BZRP Music Sessions” at No. 73. The song, which represents the second single by the 18-year-old singer, exceeded 17 million views on YouTube and ranked first in the Spotify list “Éxitos Argentina.” It appears likely the track will gain positions on the list in the next few days.
Finally, at the end of the chart entered “Me Vuelvo Loco” at No. 93, the collaboration that united Spanish singer Abraham Mateo with CNCO.
The Argentina Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the country and is compiled by a formula that blends local streaming activity on leading music services such as YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music, among others, as well as national radio airplay and plays of songs featured on a variety of Argentine TV networks. Streaming data is provided by Nielsen Music, while radio and TV measurement are powered by BMAT/Vericast.
The Billboard Argentina Hot 100 will appear in each monthly print issue and will be refreshed weekly each Wednesday.
